Hello AnandTech forums, I am having an issue with my new video card and I am looking for some help.

When I first bought my GTX560 TI in June everything was running great with no issues.

About a month ago when watching a youtube video my screen went black and I had to manually reboot my system a couple of times before video came back.

Once video came back I was no longer able to display at my TV's native 1080p @60hz resolution. If I try to display at the native resolution the screen will zoom in slightly and I wont be able to see the taskbar and the left side of my desktop. Instead I am forced to display in 1080i @ 30hz in order to have a stable full view of my desktop.

This issue also carries over into games. I haven't been able to get any of my games to display in 1080i effectively and the same zoomed in issue happens when I try 1080p.

I have tried using different HDMI cables and different display ports but the issue persists.

I have found someone with a similar issue with the display on this forum. http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=846984&mpage=1

So far I haven't been able to find a solution.

Any help you may be able to give me is greatly appreciated.

I have GTX 560TI too. Following this. I hope someone can help you. Are you sure it's a vga problem and not display problem?

I feel your pain. I have 2 eVGA GTX 460 1GB is SLI. Sometimes my screen goes blank for no reason or my 2nd GTX 460 doesn't show up in device manager. Sometimes rebooting solves the problem other times just reinserting cables fixes the problem.

I just switched out my new video card for my old card and the issue is now affecting both cards. The only program that I can think that can be causing the issue is the NVIDIA Control Panel. I've not found a simple uninstall for the program and I don't want to just go around deleting files.

Does anyone know a way to uninstall the NVIDIA Control Panel?

I imagine it could be my monitor, the only reason I don't think that is the case is because I was displaying perfectly fine in 1080p before this issue. Unless I have multiple HDMI cables that all went bad at the same time I doubt it's cables either.

Also, my monitor is displaying everything in 1080p properly until windows loads. The instant I get into the log in for windows the display switches over from 1080p @ 60hz to 1080i @ 30hz.
