GTX260 upgrade path

Gaming at 1920x1200 requires me to turn some settings down to ensure a perfectly smooth experience. I've got a single, original, GTX 260 and adding a second one would be the way to go but I don't have an SLI motherboard.

What kind of upgrade path are you guys out there in non-SLI boards and GTX 260s taking?

Every time I look at upgrading something I'm kicked in the junk by a lack of $ or another component that I want to upgrade... Don't even know why I worry about it anymore. X58 makes everyone happy.

Hold off and save money. The GTX300 series is coming later this year, and it'll be perfect as a dual gpu card in your single slot mobo, that is if you want to keep your mobo. That is unless you can find a bargain deal on a GTX295.

I am trying to grab a deal on GTX295, as that is the only way to go that makes sense. If I could grab one for the same cost as another 260 could cost me, I'd probably go for it. I do know that once the eBay cash back hits above 20%, I will be biting for sure on some auctions.

For that resolution, anything lower then GTX 295/4870X2 is useless. So, you can sell your card and buy one of those two.

WHAT!? I run at 1920x1200 with a GTX 260-216 and the only game I have trouble with is Crysis.
