GTX260 216Core or GTX275 or HD4890?

I'm planning to purchase a new system these days. I'm a little bit confused about which card to select. I have short listed these cards and am quite confused which card to select.

1. GTX 260 216core:

GPU Clock : 680Mhz
Mem Speed: 2000Mhz
Mem Bus : 448

2. GTX 275

GPU Clock : 633
Mem Speed: 2260
Mem Bus : 448

3. Radeon 4890

I'm planning to purchase a full HD 22" LCD and am not a hard core gamer.

Pleas suggest me which GPU should i go for??

What is the price difference on the parts? Cost no object I'd take the 275 first, 4890 second the the 260 last. If cost is a reasonable factor, it would depend on the price for each part.

I'm converting my local currency into dollars . .

XFX - GTX 275 $284

XFX - GTX 260 $253

XFX - ATi 4890 $265

The main competition here is btw 275 and 260 as i've heard many people saying that 4890 becomes noisy at load and i don't like it . . . ! ! !

Err... all performance cards get noisy at load. Hope you weren't under the impression that the other two are much quieter.

If you're not a HC gamer and noise bothers you, are you sure you should be considering cards of this caliber? What DO you plan on using your machine for?

Well, i do want to play the latest games without any problems but the investment that im gonna make on this new system is bcz i will use this system for another couple of years when i9 will become affordable without any finances . . . 😛

Those prices are rather insane for any of those parts, what does the 5850 go for in your area?

At that price point I would probably go with a 275 just because there is almost no difference, but for that much here you can pick up a 5850 that would wipe the floor with any of those.

Yeah you are absolutely right, but these higher prices are due to shipping and import tax costs that the importers have to pay... FUI 5850 is yet to hit our market . . . :S

wow that 4890 must be unbearable.

I generally don't notice my 4890 over my case fans. My system isn't the quietest - but the video card only gets noisy under a real heavy load (furmark maybe). It's a tad noisier now as I haven't cleaned out my case or air filters recently.
