Just picked up a Zotac GTX 770 2gb. I couldn't resist the free game coupons. Normally I would go with MSI. After reading positive reviews on Zotac decided to save couple bucks and get Splinter Cell for free. I got card installed and started to test it out on Crysis 3. I noticed with Precision X i was hitting 91c o_O. I stopped using PX and went with Afterburner. Temps dropped to low 80's. I went ahead set custom fan profile and got temps down to mid 70's. This was @ stock clocks. I believe this card is voltage locked @ 1.200V. What are good load temps to shoot for? System specs are in my sig.

Is this a reference card with a blower style cooler or an aftermarket card with a custom cooling solution?

If your Zotac has the Amp! cooler like mine, 65% fanspeed and my card never exceed 74cel and if i ramp the fan to 85% i won't break 70cel.

you may need to adjust the fan profile to your liking. It will probably be a trade off between cooler or quieter.

^^Skip what program are using to set your fan profile? Even with fan speed cranked up its pretty quite. I'm actually really impressed Zotac. I was real hesitant to buy this brand.

Evga Precision is what i use. Yeah Zotac surprised me too as usually i am a Evga person but i had a strict budget when i got my 770 and it was the cheapest but i can surely say i don't regret the purchase.
