Hi ,you'll be fine with the MSI if that's what you want , good cards...I would however think of upgrading the power supply at some point .(better quality)

here is my complete specs:

processor- i5 2500k
mobo- intel dh67bl
psu- coolermaster thunder 500w
ram- 4gb
monitor- 32inc lcd tv 1080p


so, my question is that will it be safe to use molex connector with my psu?
which is good msi or zotac gtx 760? and can my psu can hold off for at-least 2 month after that i will change my psu , can using molex can damage my other components?
 
Good specs, though not complete by any means.

Using molex won't damage other components, but overloading a PSU that lacks the necessary protections can do. I can't find reviews on your particular unit, but it's manufactured by Channel Well Tech which has good reputation so I would trust its safety mechanisms are OK. Cooler Master's specs list OVP / OCP /OPP / SCP. I would not worry about it: the total +12V output is rated for 408W and the two +12V rails are rated for 252W and 288W independently. GTX 760 uses about 150W-160W - grabbing a few dozen watts from the other rail isn't going to be a risk, in my opinion.

I would rather buy MSI GTX 760, it's probably the quietest 760 around.

and so iam going with msi gtx 760 i am having 8pin but not another 6pin so i will be using molex for that, one more thing how i will connect molex using 2x4pin or 1x4 pin ?
 
I meant the specs were not complete, as in you did not list all the specs 🙂. You only listed the cpu, mobo, psu and ram and monitor, but that's fine.

Hold on, that link you posted shows the unit has two PCIe connectors. You don't need to use an adapter.

no the us model has 2x6pin but other than that its having 1x6pin sadly!
so i will be using molex fine?

the sapphire HD 7970 OC(1 ghz) is selling for USD 300 . moreover gigabyte is voltage locked. so the OP can pick up a sapphire or msi HD 7970.

the HD 7950 and HD 7970 are both faster cards. a golden GTX 760 even at 1.3 Ghz is slower than an avg HD 7950 at 1.15 Ghz

the reason for leaning toward zotac gtx 760 is that though it requires 2x6pin and my psu has 1 6pin but msi 760 need 1x8 pin and 1x6pin so which one i should buy and will it be safe to use molex for atleast 2 months?

I have a Cooler Master 750w GXII and it powers my monster with nary a hiccup.

Grab the 750w GXII and you'll be fine especially for SLI.

Wow, those are good deals. I wonder how much noise the MSI fans make on that card. I imagine the windforce from gigabyte is pretty quiet though.

Tempted to make a swap myself :hmm:
