GTX 760 SLI Bottleneck

I wanted to buy a GTX 760 and later on end up getting a second GTX 760. I currently have an FX-6300 and was wondering if i would get any bottleneck when playing games. The other thing I thought of was to get one GTX 760 and instead of getting another GTX 760 get a FX-8350. And finally what kind power supply would i need for an fx 8350 and two gtx 760's. One card will run on a pcie 16x and the other on a pcie 8x

No its not a new build but ima be playing at 1080p and will play games like skyrim, call of duty and battlefield. Will a fx 6300 and the gtx 760 be able to play the new games coming out like bf4. I dont know if i only need one gtx 760 or two.

Ya i was thinking of getting the gtx 760 but from gigabyte with the triple fans. I think it might be better because it has a higher clock speed and i saw a video online and it is cooler than the msi gaming edition card

I also thought of buy either 2 gtx 660's or 7870's which in the long run is $100 cheaper. They seem to perform pretty well

a single card is always the best solution and i would never suggest dual cards off the back. I suggest getting a HD 7970 or GTX 770 and call it a day if gaming at 1080p

I would if I could but I can't buy those cards. The reason I consider sli or crossfire because I can buy 1 card now an another in a year or two

Even then it is usually a better move to sell your current card when upgrading and get a better single card.

Agree. Old generation cards just don't drop in price enough to justify upgrading to SLI. I mean, just look at GTX 560 Ti prices.

I play at 1080p.Its just that i cant waste that much money on a graphics card even if i use the money from my old gpu. To me its cheaper buying two cheaper cards like a the gtx 760 and buy another one a year or two later. I can get a good power supply like an 850 watt gold psu and have that room for upgradability

So can some one please tell me a power supply hat can power everything after all the upgrades.

Say what? How is $250 for a GPU + $40 extra for a PSU and then spending another $200 less (total $490) less expensive than a $330 GPU like the 7970?
