GTX 760 or GTX 560 SLI

I currently have 2X560 GTX running in SLI on a Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 and a FX8350 thrown in for good measure.

I run two monitors: one at 1920X1080 120HZ and the second at 1680X1050 60 HZ. Obviously I game at 1080p, 120HZ.

The twin 560's kick out a lot of heat and noise but do a fantastic job. Most games I can crank the settings to max and I'm still getting 60+ fps.

I'm wondering if a single 760 GTX would be an upgrade? I don't expect that there would be a significant increase in fps if an increase at all, but heat and noise would be reduced drastically.

So what are your thoughts?

A.) Go with the 760 GTX
B.) Stick with the SLI 560 GTX

Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

I'd say go with the single 2GB 760.You'll be getting far newer technology and better future-proofing.

(I just upgraded from a single 1.5GB GTX480 to a single 4GB GTX770 myself.)

The temperature drop on my new GTX770 is shocking.(It's often times idling at a lower temp then my FX-8150 CPU does at idle.)

Thanks for the thoughts and feedback.

The single card solution is very attractive especially when it comes down to heat and noise but I don't want to lose any performance at the same time. Essentially, I want to have my cake and be able to eat it too.

Just so we're clear, I'm not a slave to fps; 50fps is just as usable as 60fps to me. My eyes can't tell the difference and at the end of the day, that's what matters to me. If the game is playable with no stuttering or crawling frame rates then I'm happy.
