I got a new system up and running, silent pc thing, and Win 8.1 Pro won't detect the graphics card. The Intel GPU is disabled in Bios, the Device Manager shows Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.
When i try to install it it just says it fails. Windows update listed a Nvidia driver, but it also fails to install.
Its hooked up to DVI. I'm at wits end with this one, the cards fan is going, it will detect "GTX 760" when i try to manually install, but its basicly just words.
I vaguely recall this happening before, just can't remember how i fixed it. Its a MSI 760 ACX card new. Its on a Gigabyte H97N-Wifi board. 600watt Corsair PS. Only one new BIOS is available for mobo but its just for a SSD fix.
Should i try HDMI instead?
