GTX 750 Ti - Six Pin or Not?

I've been wading through dozens of reviews for various GTX 750 Ti models. A number of the twin fan ones require a six pin, ostensibly to increase overclocking headroom and stability. It seems though that in tests with the more reference-like models without a six pin that they OC about as well. Should a person get a six pin model or not? From the experience of those here who own them is there any compelling reason?

There is no reason to. They all overclock nearly the same. The chip is artificially constrained and, if you read most reviews, you'll see that just about every GT 750 Ti can max out it's overclock limit allowed by software.

Get either the best deal that you can get, or get the brand that you are most comfortable with.

If they're the same, I wouldn't. But reference models probably don't need one because of the lack of power required for fans and non-overclock

smaller card size = no pin
low temp = additional fan (6pin)

overclock wise, they are still 750ti. can't be 670/760.
maybe better oc with 6pin if additional gpu voltage is required.
