GTX 680 SLI CPU needs?

I've looked, but I can't find any reviews showing what CPU is needed to fully take advantage of SLI'd GTX 680s. Has anyone seen any measurements? Right now I'm running 4.0Ghz Bloomfield processor. I don't anticipate that it will be the slowest component, but the current generation video cards *are* pretty fast.

It all depends on the settings and games. To take fully advantage of two GTX680s, one should use

a) Nvision Surround
b) SGSSAA
c) Downsampling

The fastest CPU will only give you more fps when most likely you don't need it (like 90 to 110fps). This may be important if one plays really fast shooters and racing games. Otherwise, not so much.

2560x1600. No interest in multi-monitor with bezels in my way. There are still games that average too low for my likes (I still have to turn off SSAO in the witcher 2 for example). I'm still waiting to play through metro 2033 once I get something that will run it decently at that res with almost everything on, etc.

The single 680 does most of what I want it to, but I still have a few games that still aren't quite right.

@ Your res u r gpu than cpu bottle-necked.Getting a better CPU will probably do very little for u.
