I have a very strange problem with my computer right now. My GPU, which is a EVGA GTX 670 2gb, has some weird display problems.

When the card is cold, I get strange screen problems where the video goes out for a split second and comes back. This happens for the first few minutes of the computer being on. However, once I start playing a game, after a minute or 2 the problem goes away completely and stays away until I let the computer shut down.

I already RMA'ed the card and got a replacement, still have the same problem. I tried another PCI-E slot and a different cable. I currently have no way of testing another monitor at this time, but I may be able to put it in another desktop within the next few days.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a failing cap somewhere, probably on your mobo or in your PSU.

I have this exact same problem on my Asus GTX 670 DC2T and it is driving me CRAZY!

Have tried two different monitors, both are making the same problem.
Have tried both dvi and hdmi cable, both makes the problem, however hdmi seems alot worse.
Have done a brand new windows install, still makes the problem.
Have tried all different drivers, still makes the problem.
Have tried every possible settings in Nvidia Control Panel.
Have tried the card in a friends computer, it works fine.

The problem goes away if i remove the Nvidia driver, or put in my old Geforce 8800 GTS.

I have serously tried everything. Dont know what to do anymore.
