I just registered to this forum and want to ask will my core i5 750 (not oc) will slow down gtx 670 if i bought one ? If so wich card do you suggest to buy to go well with CPU and i could max out WoW, Guild Wars 2 or even BF3. I have club3d 5770 OC and it still can play games at high settings (even crysis) exept bf3, so i want to upgrade. So my current pc (it is old):
4gb of ram
MSI H55m e33 motherboard
Core i5 750 not oc CPU
5770 1gb OC club3d GPU
and samsung screen @ 1680x1050
So if you want you can help me and sorry for my english :)

I think it will bottleneck the card in BF3, you can get the 670 or a 7950 (Similar performance, the 7950 may be better on price) and try to overclock the I5 750 up too 3.5-3.7Ghz and help it out a bit. At 1680x1050 however you will not use a card of that caliber to it's fullest potential, you will be CPU bottlenecked, but you can always get a card now and upgrade around it later. You will see a pretty large performance increase coming from a 5770.

At stock speeds, the 750 will sometimes bottleneck a 670, and will absolutely bottleneck it in BF3. Of course, it would still be a big improvement from your 5770.

Because you would be bottlenecked, however, you would get just as much out of a less expensive card, for instance a 7870 or a 7950.

Also, you should consider overclocking the CPU, because even a 10% boost, which should be easy at stock voltage, will make a difference in BF3. By the way, 4GB of RAM will also cause some slowdowns in BF3.

You'll be fine once you give your 750 a slight overclock and you can max out games for quite a while since your resolution is low. Go for it.
