GTX 580 issue with hdmi

While it's not exactly a major issue, it is quite annoying, and I'm curious if there's a solution.

My 26" lcd tv is connected to my 580 via hdmi. When I boot the pc up, the display works perfectly fine. When it gets to the login screen, the screen goes black, but if I unplug and re-plug the hdmi back into the card, the login screen appears as it should.

Using Windows 7 64bit professional, and running the latest 266 nvidia drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it's slightly annoying to have to unplug my hdmi cable every time I boot the computer up (it's only on boots from being completely shutdown...display functions properly on restarts).

Is there an updated bios for your video card?

The GTX580 has a few problems in the HDMI port relating to fresh rate which causes blackouts/flashing.

Don't know. It's the Gtx 580 Direct Cu II.

I haven't had any other problems with the connection and it's only on a cold boot which is weird.

I'll try another hdmi cable, and if anything, could always get a dvi to hdmi cable.
