ok ive got this gtx 580 with mini hdmi,im using it on my samsung syncmaster 2032 mw, native resolution is 1900x1080i
when i connect pc to monitor using the hdmi cable provided with the card the display is too big for my monitor,so like i cant see my task bar or any desktop icons to the left of my screen.
im using latest nvidia driver,and ive check for driver,s for my monitor online and they seem up to date
i have the audio enabled and that is fine,,also it one less lead i have hanging out back of monitor.
ive gone through all menu options on my samsung ( theres not a great deal of options) but cant see anything to fix this.ive tryed to rename the hdmi to pc but this fix didnt help.
when i connect card to moniter using the dvi lead everything is perfect,but id prefere to be using hdmi connection because it sounds better.
anyone able to give me any advice on this problem, because its getting boring now,and i been messing with this issue for almost 3 hours. thanks FooMan
