Hello,

I was wondering is it better to buy two GTX 560 and put them into SLI or to buy one (almost two times) stronger GTX 670?

I'm a newbie regarding to SLI and multiple GPUs in same PC.

Thanks

has SLI ever been a viable solution ? Afaik, either it's done with top of the line products when they get first available, or there's always been a better option by buying a modern midrange card.

what they said. I would get a 670 or 7950.

I'd get the GTX 670 only because it has 2GB of GDDR5 as opposed to the GTX 560's 1GB GDDR5. The GTX 460/560 is still fast enough (especially in SLI) to run any game out today but the puny 1GB frame-buffer will limit you to a maximum playable resolution of 1680x1050 like my LCD.
