GTX 560 vs 6870

I have really been looking at getting a GTX 560 but just saw some review that shows that 6870 to be faster. I don't know how reliable that is. Anyone care to lead me in the right direction that shows me otherwise? Thanks.

The 6870 definitely is faster about half the time. Remember, the GTX 560 (non-Ti) is basically a GTX 460 with a slightly higher clock. The 6870 did very well against the GTX 460 and even competed against the GTX 470.

Here, from a review off of Anand, you can see that the stock 6870 bests all but the most highly overclocked GTX 560 donning an non-stock cooler.

There ain't a dime's worth of difference between the two in gaming (cherry-picked single benchmark not withstanding). Vegas Pro 11 supports hardware acceleration for both GPU companies. Don't think there's much a difference between the two in performance there.

AS I have talked to some that have used the different cards some say for the money that the oc 460 is the best bang for your buck. I think I may go that route.
