I'm building a Dell precision 490 into video editing machine. I will use Sony Movie Studio Platinum to edit video. The latest installment supports GPU acceleration. I want to know which one of these cards is better. Thanks for the time.

If you can spend just a little bit extra, why not just get a GTX 660?

The 650 Ti has a faster clock speed and twice the cuda cores.. How is the 560 better? The memory bandwidth or something??

what are the best cards for under $150? Radeon any good? Why can't you compare Cuda cores, if its not to complicated to answer.

5 series had shader clocks separate from core clock. Shader domain clock.
So, where a GTX 560Ti had 384 shaders, they were running at about 1600+ MHz and the core would run at 800.
In the 6 series, they shader domain clocks are gone. Core and shaders run the same speed.
So a GTX650Ti would probably be right around the speed of a GTX560Ti. The latter running 768 CUDA cores at 928 MHz and the former running 384 CUDA cores at @850MHz. (depending on model)

No, the GTX 560 Ti is faster. I used the bench here and the GTX 650 Ti is roughly equal to a GTX 460 1GB.

Except Fermi (GTX 560) also had a hardware scheduler, which they dropped in little Kepler.
