but he is entitled to his own preference as are you.

the thread he created is him being more constructive. You could do some benchmarks and make a semi-Review. Your overclocked vs stock results would make a great thread.

Fair enough, and maybe one day. I have to work in the morning and I have a lot going on this week so I'll be putting in some overtime. I'm going to bed soon.

I have never encountered anyone who claimed so much trolling as you do... troll this, troll that, everyone who disagrees at all with you must be a troll right? If someone makes a thread asking if his CPU will bottleneck his 6850, and you make a gazillion posts about another card, that's okay, but the reverse sends you into a tizzy? You can plump for your favorite card in others' discussions about 7850 overclocking, but if anyone disagrees they must be trolling? Even when you make patently absurd claims?

I did not appreciate and do not appreciate being lumped together with anyone who crossed the line. If other people improperly attacked you then I'm sorry that happened to you, but it is not justification for calling me a troll just because I was posting near the same time they were. I even AGREED with you vs. Boris's hilarious ramen comment, yet you lashed out at me and my "beloved" ramen. Yes you literally said that. Lol.

For the record I was one of the people who reported the foul language fight to the mods. And a little Ramen humor never hurt anyone. You yourself just posted about ramen in the 6850 thread.

"Troll" is considered a personal attack and not to be used lightly. If you don't like being called a troll, think about how other people feel when you falsely accuse them of such.

If members spent more time on crafting quality reviews and opinions on there beloved products like 7850 and catleap monitor ect then we would all better off this is just getting ridiculous cause in real life none of this would be happening.

I don't mind the derailment at all what I do mind allot is the negative energy, hate posting, and general mess it has become so I am asking all posters that added to this mess to delete there dirty or somewhat questionable posts and lets keep it clean. Makes me reconsider doing any favors and giving back to the Anandtech community in the future face palm face palm face palm :-(

I've just finished issuing a ton of infractions, warnings and mod-editing posts.

What is wrong with you people? A member did a review, and all some of you can do is crap on it, or crap on the OP for not having a better (in your POV) card, or not having a card you prefer?

This isn't a "what card is best" thread. It's just a review thread. Stop crapping on it. You can question the methodology, the accuracy of the results, the selection of games, those are fine. But if all you are going to say amounts to "this is useless, I hate the card being reviewed", then please do not post at all.

To the OP, please do not butcher your own thread next time, and avoid participating in off-topic arguments; you basically contributed to the derail as well. Report posts, then leave them be. Also, stop throwing around "troll" against everybody who disagrees with you.
