384 @ 820mhz from 336 @ 675mhz on the 460. That's a nice bump. If this card overclocks to 950mhz, it will give a stock GTX570 a run for the $$.
thats going to be almost too close to the gtx570. also if it is still a 6:1 sp/tmu ratio then at 820mhz it is going to have much more texture fill rate than a gtx570 and even a bit more than a gtx580.384 @ 820mhz from 336 @ 675mhz on the 460. I wonder how they will handle the pricing.
I just hope it's under 9 inches long

I wouldn't bet on it, at least not the reference cards.I just hope it's under 9 inches long
This card is really going to put some pricing pressure on the entire high end lineup from both camps.
My guess is $250 for a 384 shader part, and $200 for a ~775mhz 334 shader part.
well I believe the gtx460 is only 8.25 inches so its very likely the gtx560 could be under 9 inches.I wouldn't bet on it, at least not the reference cards.
I'm eyeing up two of them with my tax return
Same here, now. Was planning on either a single 570 or 6970 for the SB build initially.
I wonder if the memory bandwidth will hold it back against cards with 160GB/s+ of bandwidth.

Still rumored for a January release?
Looks good but if I see a 1GB 460 for $120 or less, I'll buy it (still on a 768MB version)
Out of curiosity, why did you opt to buy a 768MB card only to then go into the market for a 1GB card?

I got the card for a good price (Asus version, sub $100 after selling the game). I didn't "go into the market", I'm aware of it though and have filters set up on slickdeals for lots of things I want. I'm generally happy with what I have (including my current 460) but would be willing to upgrade to better products if the price is right.
I'm usually not one to buy at launch knowing there is a good chance that six months later I might be able to catch a deal for half price. Doesn't work on everything but it totally works on videocards.
