Doesn't matter if I use a single card or SLI. Windows hangs when it's loading and finally locks up. This only happens after I install the 81.94 drivers. Windows XP Pro SP2 and fully updated and dx 9.0c. If I don't install any video drivers the system will boot fine. I can boot into safe mode to uninstall the video drivers but this only works so many times before windows won't finish loading again.(even without video drivers installed) Already installed XP Pro about 3 times.
I looked on Tomshardware(at the GTX 512MB review) and they were using the A8N Premium with the nforce 6.65 platform drivers. Has anyone had any problems with the 6.70's? I guess I'll reinstall XP....again and try the 6.65's.
If that doesn't work I'm going for a new motherboard but I'm limited on choices because the GTX's and X-Fi take up so much room. I think the new Asus SLI 16x board is out of the question. Thanks for the help.
