Hey everyone! I've been a longtime AT reader and lurker on these forums, but just now decided to register
Anyway, I recently bought an eVGA GTX 470. While I'm pretty pleased with its performance, I find the fan noise just loud enough to be annoying. I've had a surprisingly hard time finding information on aftermarket Fermi cooling kits -- does anyone know of any good quiet ones? The Thermalright Spitfire is supposed to be very good, but 1) it's quite pricey, and 2) I doubt it'd fit in my case (Antec P180B, and I already have a Noctua tower heatsink on my CPU).
Alternately, I've heard it's possible to remove the stock fan from the GTX 470 and just mount a 120mm case fan onto the heatsink. Does anyone have any experience or pointers about this?
