GTX 470 10.6.4 Help

I recently purchased a GTX 470 for my PC. I did some research beforehand to make sure it would work with OS X. Apparently, while the 460 and 465 do not work, the 470 and 480 do, albeit without proper OpenCL support. I have read through the thread on InsanelyMac about getting G100 cards working in OS X, and I have tried a few of the solutions that apparently worked for other people, but I get nothing. Before installing the drivers, I can boot into safe mode, but after the install, I get a black screen. The system still boots. I can even look at the screen from my laptop using the screen sharing feature, but I get nothing on the display. has anyone here gotten a 470 or 480 working in 10.6.4, and if so, could you give me a few pointers?
