GTX 460 or GTX 550Ti?

I'm in a bit of a sticky. I've got an offer to buy 1 or the other for $80.00. I am leaning towards the 550 Ti, however the 192-bit bus is a bit of a sore point for me.

if the gtx460 is the same as in your link then its easily the better gpu and has a little more overclocking headroom too.

You've got your links flipped, but assuming the 460 link correctly links to a 256-bit version, there's absolutely no question which to get.

The 460 is leagues ahead of the 550ti, which isn't even worth $80 new, despite it selling for $120 or something ridiculous like that.

GTX 460. The GTX 550 Ti is garbage in comparison if both are the same price.

That's comparing a stock GTX 460 vs a factory OC GTX 550 Ti. On equal grounds the GTX 460 will be 30-35% faster, so it's a no-brainer.

GTX 460, easily. On a bad day the 550 Ti is worse than a Radeon HD 5770, while on a good day the GTX 460 challenges the Radeon HD 5850.

I just picked up a GTX 460 1GB EE SC, the one that has a core clock of 763Mhz for $40 bucks. Great card.

So yea, another vote for the GTX 460.
