Gtx 460 and grey screen

I have a older computer which is a m2n sli deluxe, 4gb ram, msi gtx 460, amd 940 (nothing overclocked). Occasionally it would freeze and the screen would go grey generally during gaming. Now it happens within a few seconds of starting any game. Furmark can run for a hour without any freezing at all. Previously I had a ocz shit power supply installed in this computer that fried 2 other video cards. Now I have a corsair 500watt psu but now it seems the same thing is happening to the 3rd video card which is this gtx 460. Is it possible the motherboard is killing the video card? Any help would be appreciated thx.

Very unlikely.. The GTX 460 is pretty dated. Do a search GTX 460 gray screen. you're not alone..
