I didn't know that a gtx 285's could come with 3 6 pin power connectors.
This is a monster setup.

12 pci-e 6 pin connectors? Dual core i7 cpu's, what psu can handle this?

Yeah. eVGA has had quad-SLI with GTX 285's for a few months now with their 4-way SLI X58 Classified. This new board is based off the Intel 5520 server chipset and NF200 chipsets. It will use probably Xeon 5500 series processors.
