I don't know if this deal will go through or not, but I ordered one.

How strict are the power requirements? Will my Corsair 520W handle it without any slowdowns or crashes?

Requirements
Minimum of a 550 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 40 Amp Amps.)
An available 6 pin PCI-E power connector and an available 8 pin PCI-E power connector

You may make it, depends on the amps probably. If not there's always a new psu. Either way, you'll not lose on buying one at that price. I grabbed three. :)

:Q :| :gift:

Must resist....no the wife doesn't need one in her rig...she doesn't even play games...but, but...no...resist...if I didn't already put my 2 280's in for step-up...

A pair of GTX 295's are only costing me about $100 total to step up but for anyone in the market for a GTX 260+ or HD4870 1GB...merry late Christmas...what a price!

NICE FIND!

We do seem to get hardware for less from what I gather on the forums.

Sweet Jesus... 200$... GTX280...

That is a heavy understatement :p I have yet to see a deal here for hardware better than let's say a few % off... Now, for house electrinics it's crazy sometimes (like 50-70% off), but for computer hardware? Nope.

Yeah, you do seem to have amazing prices. But this GTX price is totally unreal. The cheapest I can get in my country is 430 $.

This deal STOMPS the price vs. performance argument. There's no question what card I'd buy at this price point. I just hope they actually ship. They were on amazon and buy and this link was posted in several forums a few hours ago..

OMG. I died a little from the inside. That's the same price I'd pay for a HD4850 golden sample in Holland. If I could, I'd buy one right now.

My PS is supposed put out 40 Amps on the 12V, so I might squeak by. If not, I'll downgrade this to a 260.

Did you pay by paypal? If so, did you receive an email confirmation of payment and does payment show up on paypal screen? I went through buy on ebay then found the direct link. Payments have posted yet.

Sounds like you'll be good on the psu..

Yet another in-the-U.S.A-only good deal on a great GPU, crap. The day I see something like that happen outside of the holidays sales on NCIX or NewEgg.ca I will be happy, certainly.

So err... any confirmation on whether the Corsair HX520 can power this puppy? I see 18/18/18 on the box but this only has 2 connectors, so it's only using 2 of those 18s, right? Hope I don't need to hunt for a new PSU...

Well the link still says $200 dollars but when i add it on to the cart it goes up to $340. And it only has one $20 mail in rebate. My question is where are all the other rebates?

The deal must be over. I'd watch over the next couple days, may not be a SSC, but I'd bet other 280 deals will surface. Clearing the shelves..

I have no need for this and yet I would have been all over it. Oh well. Definitely a pricing error; I wonder if they will honor it.

Would a corsair 750TX be good enough for 2 of these? Thinking of buying, rig in sig.

I have no problem with overclocked Core i7 + GTX 260-216 SLI and a TX750.

The GTX 280s do take quite a bit more power but they still should be fine:

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardwa...295-quad-sli-review/16

And their test setup is an i7 @ 3.7GHz, which I am pretty sure will take more power than your Q6600 @ 3.3GHz. Although you may be hitting into a bit of a CPU bottleneck with 280 SLI on a Q6600 at those speeds.
