GTX 1070

Interesting story, the price jumped up to $505.05 since I posted. I had it in my cart and the price jumped up on the one in my cart. I was heartbroken...

but...

I hit the back button on the browser and put another one in the cart at the old price and then removed the more expensive version and it worked!
 
That is a good price, that's about half of what they were going for not even a month ago. Though I have spotted some for like $300 but it was auction, so probably went higher.

Personally I would wait. Something has to give, like a new card release or something, then all these "old" cards will drop in price even more, perhaps even at retailers.
 
HD 7850 is the outgoing card. I did it. Did you see the story where the price jumped in the cart before I could pay? The card went up to $505 but I got the lower price by backing up the browser to a previous screen.
 
Dang it! They are pulling some strange business over at Walmart. The card I ordered was MSI and it was an 8GB 1070 Aero and Walmart proper was the seller. It was to be delivered today.

I checked on it last night and the card they were going to send was an Asus 6GB 1060 from a 3 party seller and it hadn't shipped yet but was due for delivery today.

Anyhow the order got canceled.

Probably a good thing, prices are dropping right now. I think in a week or less you'll beat that price you saw anyway.
