So the frys i work at got GTS450 1GB palit cards in last Saturday, priced at $135. Today i went over figuring that we could sell them since we had em, but the point of sales system won't let us yet. We had to tell the customer when they could pick it up since they were on shelf, street date @ frys is the twelfth, 6 days from now. Palo alto frys has 7 palit cards in stock if anyone near by wants one, and our other stores probably have a similar amount

What speed difference will there be compared with a 460. That is a very good price. But Im afraid it might not be for hard core gamer ya know... thx and gl,

Is this card even good enough to run PhysX instead of recommending the GTS 250? Well at least Nvidia has DX11 at the low end now.

Somone said that its performance is between 5750 & 5770, so maybe it will be another failed product, unless NV can price it down when releasing.

well @ $135 that makes it a tad more expensive than the 5750 which can be easily found for $125, or even less with sales/rebates. A fair price considering its supposed to be slightly faster, albeit slightly slower than a 5770.

Remember that is full MSRP at a B&M store. etail and AR/coupon/hot deals should have this hardware under $100 in short order.

A valid, newer tech replacement for the ancient GT250 at the same MSRP and possibly street price. The 4850 at $85 AR will probably remain a better deal.

This is a lower end card. I wonder what its performance is comparable to. a 5750 ? a GTX 295 ? hmmmm
