Mine is acceptable somewhat stable in 400mhz for ram.
The stable one is around 185 to 190 whats everyone elses?
And, did I do something wrong? I bought my ram sink from
2cooltek.com and I was hoping it can o/c to at least 400 perfect stable
but guess it couldnt take it. Any suggestions? or tips???
Thanks

Well, I don't have RAM sinks on my 32mb Elsa Gladiac GTS card, but I am running my core/memory at 230/400. It's been stable for me at that speed for awhile and I think I could probably increase the memory speed, but I haven't taken the time to test out other settings.

I did remove the glue, or whatever it was that was holding the hs/f onto the core and put actual thermal grease on it, though. BTW I am still using the standard hs/f.

one thing i want to add, i was just using a double sided tape to adhesion the ram heat sink on the ram....

Somehow I don't think double sided tape conducts heat very well... ;)

Get some 'frag tape' or thermal epoxy.

double side tape is not going to help tranfer the heat off the ram....use superglue or else some thermal tape/epoxy......if not ur going to kill your ram on your card overtime as the heat gradually builds up and starts to affect your ram....trust me i know...i blew the ram on my SDR by not using proper cooling....i had my geforce sdr ram clocked at 220 mhz...over time the thing would start to show colored snow...i finally checked and realized i blew a 2 meg module

how long did it take you to blow it and 220 whats the default?

So, you guys all think that double sided tape is the true cause?

I just felt odd that anand can push it to 400 w/o heat sink whereas I have heat sink and at 400 I see minor visual anomaly like snow.
