hey, was wondering if anyone knows the source of this problem. during games monitor loses signal , then after a minute resets. currently only playing wolfenstein and medal of honor. but this only happens sometimes. other times i can play for an hour with no problems.

system:
mb: bh6 first revision (latest bios)
cpu: celeron 850
video card: vistiontek geforce2 gts-v (from newegg) (drivers tried: 23.11 & 21.83 & 15.70)
ram: 512mb
unknown 250watt power supply that came with case
os: win xp pro

i figure it's motherboard or power supply. but anyone know? or know ways of finding out exact problem? when i switch back to old voodoo3-2000, no problems.

My gf2 gts did the same thing, would do it worse if overclocked, then after a little under 2 years it did that all the time even not overclocked.
I have come to the conclusion that its overheating and the traces in the chip/memory/board are marginal and losing the signal to the monitor.
Mine is an Elsa made by MSI with a 6 year warranty, Ive called Elsa 2 times, no answer, leave a message and havent got a responce.
I heard that Elsa is having problems so I might be stuck with this piece of crap vid card, oh well I bought a gf3 ti-200 and have no problems.

Good luck returning your card for RMA.
