I'm wondering what experiences you people have had with the 5632 and what it overclocks like. I'm almost a bit worried at the very low price, below the MXs if I'm not mistaken. Just loking for some bit of $0.02 worth.

right now, at newegg, my 32mb MX200 cost 1$ more than my 32mb GTS-V.

mx = 175/143 = 1255 3dBench
gts-v = 210/360 (180x2) = 4447 3dbench

that's with the slower 7ns memory... no infinte loops, no artififacts, no crashes, etc...

i did come across one.
it had 32mb of 5ns memory on it that was good for an easy boost to 200/400mhz.
the core supports T&L and runs 175mhz stock. i didnt bother to overclock the core tho.
its very nice and very cheap ($48) for a 4X card. but a gamer, it is not. in terms of speed - its equal or maybe slightly better then a MX. it does have very good overclocking potential, and comes with a fan too ;)

Its equal to a GF2 GTS if the clock speeds are increased to 200/333, which is very easily done. This is quite a bit better than an MX.

The GTS-V is an unbelievable bargain. Overclocks easily and grinds any MX into dust. If you don't need cutting-edge features then the GTS-V is the card to get.

Yep, my GTS-v (which I have had over 3 months now) runs much faster than the MX series of cards. Even at normal speed, it is faster than the MX400. I overclocked mine by about 5Mhz on the GPU and about 10 on the memory just to see if it made a drastic improvement. It did make things go faster, but since I can play counterstrike at 85+ FPS (which is my refresh rate), I am really not worried about overclocking. I even play wolf 3D with no slowdowns at all.

I will have to wait and see about the new Doom though. I have a feeling that it will make me go out and get me a GF3. (probably still won't be able to afford a GF4 even when it hits the shelves)
