GTS owners - what's image quality and FSAA like for you?

I?ve read a few GTS reviews, but they all seem to focus on how fast the thing is (or more specifically, how fast the thing is in Quake 3 and maybe UT). I?m wondering what the image quality is like ?
How is FSSA on these cards?
How do other games, such as Rogue Spear or Half Life run and look on them?
Also, how?s the 2D quality?

Thanks for your time,

SP

I'm one of those speed freaks, so I don't use FSAA. I enable it from time to time just for S&G ($shits 'n Giggles). The visual quality is pretty good, but the performance, when even using the latest 5.32 divers, sucks.

Even without FSAA, the image quality is great and smooth as silk. Most importantly, I've never had any problems with a game refusing to run. As for 2D quality, it's just as good as my GeForce DDR (don't know if that helps ya).

Yes, it's stable. In fact, I have it running on a 93MHz AGP bus. Thats on a BX though. I did try the board on a VIA133A and encountered one problem with it. The board refuses to run at AGP 4X stable when using the AGP 4X reg hack. Other than that, thats all the trouble I've had with it.

The 2D image quality of my Annihilator 2 is better than my TNT, apparently that's not saying much - but it looks good to me. I haven't found the FSAA to be usable for anything; because of the perfomance hit you need to run in lower resolutions and nvidia's FSAA doesn't make up the difference in my opinion.

As far as stability goes I've had alot of trouble on my Biostar M7MKA board (AMD 750/751); even at AGP 1x and no sidebanding it hangs constantly in several games even after a clean Windows install. However, on my Abit BH6/ Celeron 300a system it runs great, no hangs at all.

I was running around in Freespace 2 in 640x480 4x FSAA and it was pretty nice.. the only real slowdown was when a really,r eally huge capital ship (anybody familiar with the Colossus class Shivan ships will understand) are on the screen.

I run 1024x768 on notch 3 of fsaa for tfc and cs. Looks good and I still run around 60-70 frames constant.
