GTS Owners, What drivers are ya using?

Anyone using the 7.xx detonators? If so, are ya using them with DX8 or DX7? What games and how is performance?

I'm using 6.31, and wondering if new 7.xx with DX8 is worth moving to.

Using the 6.47's, DX7. Don't have any DX8 games, so I'm not updating yet.

Just got my Elsa GTS last night and I'm using the 6.31s. I don't trust those "leaked" Nvidia drivers.

Considering you can download the 6.31s here from Nvidia's web site, I wouldn't call them leaked.

in win2k i couldn't get anything above dx7 and 6.31 to work right.

MY Framerate would be faster and 3dmark2000 would be hihger but games were choppy even at 60+ frames a second. Hech even at an average of 150 frames a second where the framerate never dropped below 70 it was still choppy. So i went backt o dx7 and 6.31 and no more problems. I had no such problesm in win98 though.

Only win2k.

I'm only uing the 6.31's also. I just built my system and I'm tired of fiddling so I wanted a stable driver.

Damn, I must be the only one using the drivers from the card manufacturer. Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 64mb using Hercules' drivers in Win2K w/DX8 and never had any slow down in Solitaire. I suck so bad in Q3A I wouldn't notice any difference even if there were.

6.31 with DX7 in Windows 98
6.31 with DX8 in Windows 2000 (not that it matters, I don't play games in W2K)

I've now seen people who say 6.49 are stable also and since eVGA have based some their lastest driver off it, its worth getting?
