Im in the process of building my rig (AMD 1.1G/MSI K7T-Pro2A) and am looking for recommendations on a video card.

I primarily will use it for games, no need to TV in/out features, etc. I would use it for FPS games like Half-life, ROuge Spear, etc, also EA sports games.

Ive had 3dfx cards in the past and never had a GTS card before. Im looking at the Elsa Gladiac or Creative Labs Annihilator2.

Any info would be appreciated!

 
I had the Creative Labs version in the past, and it was a good card.

There probably won't be much difference between the two gaming wise. Maybe 2 or 3 FPS here and there.

So you should go with the one that you can get the best price on. You might also want to check with the companies and see how they are with their driver updates, if you do not feel like using the NVIDIA reference drivers.
