GTS 250 Artifacts

Hey all,

Installed a PNY GTS 250 PCI-E and all I get are artifacts, and only at about the upper 1/4". I cleared and installed new drivers but still nothing. In safe mode it is fine. My PSU is an Earthwatts 650. If I put my older card in it works fine. Should I provide more info?

Sounds like defective memory. Do you have a friends PC you can pop the card into to see if you get the same result? You can also try to lower the clocks on the card using eVGA precision or Riva Tuner to see if it clears up. Not a solution, just a check to see if you need to RMA the card.
 
Well I don't have another system I can put a PCI-E into (yet) but I will try to lower the clock speed. Is one better than the other? I usually use Riva.
