GTAIV expansions coming to PC next week

So how much playtime do these expansions add to the original? If this ends up doubling the amount of time I spent on the original, I might consider it when it drops to say...$20.

I kept mine just for this potential eventuality and can email them to you if you want, or you can probably google to find a cache of them on some website. However I don't think you need them as this is a stand-alone expansion and you don't even need gta4 installed.

As to gameplay times, reviews I've read say LatD is estimated at 8-10 hours and BoGT is 10-12 hours, so a total of 18-22 hours. That's purty good I say.
 
Picked up GTA4 on Steam when it was $5 during the last big 2K Games sale, also have it on the PS3. Have like zero interest in going back to that world though, the controls even by the standards of a game like Just Cause 2 are horribly dated. If they'd released these alongside the 360 versions, I might have been interested, but at this point, I've moved on in my life from GTA4.

I've also read that Gay Tony came across very much as a B-Team effort, that the voice acting and story are pretty mediocre, and the general feeling was that the GTA4 team had moved onto something new, leaving another team to churn it out. Dunno how true that is, would kind of make sense tho.

Well I bought GTA 4 on release for full price but I'm not into the game enough to buy this for full price. But I'd love to see it on a Steam sale or something for $15 or less.

Hopefully by then I'll have a quad core because even with a 4870 I can just barely run it at 1680x1050.
 
Ah crap..I deleted my save games figuring they'd never release DLC's for this. Oh well..not really interested in replaying again. 🙁
 
I better not get to the last mission and not be able to pull myself up into the chopper.

Also, I thought the game was a little too short.
I beat the entire thing (except for the last mission) in a weekend.

It's a standalone expansion.

You don't need GTA4 installed, let alone your save games, and you can beat GTA4 whenever you like and keep playing after the credits in that too. Perhaps a change to the tread title might help keep the confusion down?

How much game time does it say you have in the stats section? My first playthrough was a bit over 20 hours, though that included at least a few hours of just goofing off finding unique jumps and the like.
