I really like hearing about other people's experience in this game. Post the craziest/strangest/funniest whatever things that have happened to you...I know there's the q/a thread but I didn't want to pollute such a nice/useful thread w/stories.

As for me, last night I stole a cop car and had 3 stars and copss all over my ass in Portland...I decide to get away from by jumping onto the railway by using the cement ramp kinda near the hideout. I hit the ramp a little indirectly and start to twirl, but I'm happy cuz it looks like i'm gonna land on the tracks - then just as I'm about to land, the subway plows into me head on and I go flying into the harbor in a spinning ball of flames...the car ultimately blows up in the water...wish I would have saved a recording...

to the guy w/ just over 400... hey..I've had this game for over a month and just started playing...its a slow day at work...

such is life in ATOT...i try to start/read a thread to keep me entertained on one subject and it entertains me in another...either way, objective met - time to go home...

I was standing at the top of a building or something an was sniping people and blowing up cars cars from up there. What happened was I blew up a car, and there was a crowd gathered to look at the wreckage. Another car was heading in that direction and I shot a rocket from the launcher and the car flipped into the air, and as it slid down the road, it flattened the whole crowd. Pretty entertaining to watch.


BTW, has anyone ever climbed onto the roof of a car and just gone around the city shoting people from the cartop? The best car to use for this is the bobcat, since the flatbed in the back makes it harder for you to be knocked off if the guy gets into an accident.

That's great!!! I don't think I've made it far enough to get the rocket launcher yet.

My favorite is crossing the bridge back into Portland... gaining full speed in the middle, then flying off the divider ramp and seeing if I can land on my wheels.... $10,000 everytime I do

There's this one part in Portland where you can go down by the water, where it's really quiet and just a pathway where a ton of people walk. There is also a dock there going out to the water, as well as a tall cliff (at the top of the cliff is a road). Anyway, just start killing people down there, then the cops come and they drive their cars off the cliff and either explode on the ground or drive right into the water and drown :D Also the cops on foot jump off the cliff...it's hilarious

i was running from the cops in staunton island, turned a sharp left into a packed intersection and rear ended a minivan so hard that it slammed foward into a stinger that had stopped at a redlight, ramped up off the stinger and flew across the intersection landing on a crowd of people

Anyone ever play driver with the railroad cheat on? (The one that makes your car so heavy that hitting other cars is like hitting nothing)
Take a car like the infernus and set it's weight to 50,000lbs with the car stat editor. Then go for a drive and watch the cars fly!

on the ps2 version I was playing the mission where you gotta kill that Triad called Chunky Lee Chong. I was trying to catch him and uzi him to death but he was hauling ass. I'd probably gotten him down to like 30% health while I chased him and ran out of bullets. As I was chasing him, a cop car rams into him from the side and I passed the mission. I laughed my ass off :D

EDIT: Dont Asuka and Maria seem like lesbians? Do you think R* hid a movie or somethin of them doing a lil sumthin with that *massager*?

Heh. I was on Staunton Island (?...the first island) and was running from some Mafia guys and cops; well, I spun out and a Mafia car hit me from the side and rolled me. Then a cop car followed in after him and he kept rolling me all the way down the street for like two blocks. :D Best part is once I stopped, I just stole the cop's car and took off.
