GTA3 on Voodoo3

Anyone know how to do this? Tried several different driver versions, official and otherwise. Tried slapping a fan on the heatsink. Cranked down all settings, no luck. It plays for a while, then locks up. Have no ideas. Muchas gracias a todos!! (Thank you very much everyone, in an espanol mood today 😀)

I never found anything that worked, and upgraded to a GeForce 4 Mx420. The support was good, but I was blown away at the difference between this card and my new ti4400. Basically, I recommend you upgrade, to a GeForce 4 mx series card (as low as $30-50 nowadays) if you are in a hurry to play and want to save money, at least a GeForce 4 ti4200 if you play alot of games.

I have a ti4400, but it's not working. The voodoo3 is a temporary replacement while I wait for a rma, and I was just in the mood to game.

voodoo3's wont work with gta3 no matter what 🙁 i spent weeks trying to get it to work when gta3 first came out.

Does the game just drop out?

My game dropped out after 1-2 mins with my Ti4400. I downloaded that Windows file that GTA3 had issues with and I also upgraded GTA to V1.1.

This solved my issues.

same problems running gta3 on my bother's comp powered by a Voodoo3. runs perfect on my 9500pro though. i actually noticed a huge difference in the texture quality from my old 7500.
