still in the early stages. They'll be releasing version 0.3 soon, which would be the first playable version.

Game modes planned: Deathmatch, Capture the Whoopie (Mr Whoopie instead of a flag) and Speed (like the movie)

Apparently its REALLY buggy. You look at a green car and the game crashes, basicly.

I think Vice City is single player like the PS2 version. Hopefully they will add multiplayer to the next GTA, that would provide endless replay value. Maybe they could even implement some sort of co-op mode, like doing a hit with your friend as the getaway driver (or something).

Not afaik, though it would be awesome. Like yellowperil said, the game would never get old with multiplayer.

Desert Combat .03 is a lot better.

A high quality mp mod of gta3 (or vice city) would smack desert combat around.
