GTA3 memory leak?

Anyone else experiencing a memory leak when they play GTA3? After I close my GTA3, I seem to lose more and more ram...anyone else? As I idle at about 200mb while I usually idle at <100mb without GTA3
 
Theres a big memory leak in it among several other bugs. Also if you have a temp monitor for your CPU, watch the reading go higher than you've ever seen it before
 
My game has slowed down since I reinstalled windows 2000. The cars seem not to have as much control...probably a video problem since I forgot the overclock settings for my ti200 card.
