GTA3: Car editing question.

If I have a .txd file I just put it in the txd directory, right? Then how do I use the car?

btw, I didn't find the answer in the faqs of that long post.

i dont think its using the car it think its finding it. i dont know if you can add cars but i think you can edit them.

I didn't edit the car myself. I downloaded the car online and it's a txd file.

I tried to put it in the txd folder but it doesn't work. I read somewhere else that I might have to import it, but I'm not sure how.

There's a few that was released by users at gta3forums.com. There's only a few so far like a viper, bmw and a couple of others. I forgot which section of the forum though, but I think it was at the car showoff section or something like that.
