Although I own GTA3 for my PS2 & PC , I really enjoyed the game alot more in 1280x1024 on my pc
as opposed the PS2's lower res.
Vice City is looking like it will surpass GTA3 in many areas & id be willing to "hold out" for the pc version
this time if I knew one was coming.
Rockstars website lists nothing about a pc version of Vice City.
Anyone know if we're gonna see the game ported to pc again?
Heres what I do know.
1) The main character will speak this time. (actor Ray Liota will be the main characters voice)
2) Different types of vehichles has been 'upped" from 50 in GTA3 to 120 in Vice City.
3) Rideable motorcycles are in the game.
4) Buildings will be able to be entered & explored. (some buildings at least)
5) Confirmed songs included so far:
Youve got another thing comin - Judas Priest
The message - Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five
Self Control - Laura Branigan
I Ran - Flock of dead Seagulls
Summer Madness - Kool & the Gang
Out Of Touch - Hall & Oats
Just died in your arms - cutting Crew
And more
6) Improved graphics...higher rez textures, better car reflections..etc
7) Game is set in the 80's (or at least seems to have an 80's style to it)
8) Gameworld is double the size of the original & all will be accessable from the start rather than needing to unlock parts of the city.
9) City gangs will be beating up, robbing people , stealing cars, running from cops etc.. to give the NPCs more of 'living city" look.
10) As well as more different kinds of pedestrians wandering about the city, Joggers, roller-skaters etc.
11) camera views improved to an "over the shoulder" view for better aiming while on foot.
12) More variety in side missions. Pizza delivery & others not revealed yet.
13) You can shoot out tires on the vehichles. (cool)
