GTA V trailer! omfg..

Looks like they put a coat of wax on it. Nothing amazing, same ole same ole.

that's a hell of a "coat of wax" towns were full.. had trains and full traffic moving around.. lots of people.. and amazing looking vistas and areas.

day 1, hour 1, buy for sure.

how were they full? I was expecting larger crowds and more traffic. looks about the same density as previous GTAs. Plus, most of the scenes shown were canned in game scenes.

It looks like a lot of the trailer will be in-game cut scenes from various missions. Here's to hoping you actually do all of this stuff.

Holy crap, take my money please!!
All GTA and all Assassin's Creed worlds combined, and seven orders of magnituge higher than San Andreas. This game sounds nuts! Pre-order, playing 100 hours the first week, top of the game pile. Awesome.

i've bought every GTA game on launch and i hated every one of them. i guess i hate repetition and free roaming. prefer linear gameplay.

i hope this is more fun than gta4. i had soo much more fun playing saints row 3 than gta4. way too many repetitive missions

The missions aren't the main game though. You were supposed to explore and do the side things like play darts, pool, bowling, go to the driving range, take your cousin drinking, take your business partner to the strip club etc. Then you were supposed to explore the map finding all the weapons and vehicles hidden across the city.

*shrug* anyway the game is almost too open for its own good sometimes. Easy to get lost

SR3 was the biggest disappointment in the last several years for me. What an absolute waste, it can't hold a candle to SR2. As for GTAIV, I still go back and play it regularly, and it was a day 1 purchase.

If you want to know why I don't like it, watch Angry Joe's review, I basically agree 100% with everything he says.

It probably has a lot less to do with the free roaming and a LOT more to do with the fact that every GTA looks and immerses you exactly like every other version you've played. Repetition is bad, but repetition over the course of 5 or 6 releases makes the experience extremely muddy.

I loved SR3 myself.

still play it on occasion just for pure mayhem.

SR2 had much better char customization though.

Looks good but nothing in that trailer made me say OMFG. I'll definitely pick it up on release though as I love GTA games.
