I just installed the PC version of San Andreas. Was planning to use the keyboard/mouse, but there's no way to lock the camera and the mouse just moves the camera all over the place. So i decided to hook up my PS2 controller and use that instead, is it possible to get 100% the same controls as you would have on the PS2 version? I want to configure it like that, but i don't think it's possible, unless there's some kind of patch out there i don't know about.

Probably.

I use a Xbox 360 controller and I have a profile to load (for a program called XBCD) that AFAIK is the exact same as the Xbox version. All this profile does is map all the buttons to be the correct numbered buttons (and makes the d-pad as buttons) so they match up in SA. So I'm guessing there's something like that for the PS2, if you just can't outright simply configure the controls in SA if you know all the mappings in PS2.

I know you can connect a xbox controller to the computer (since it's USB basically) with an adapter so the PS2 thing is similar right?

Can't you just map the keys to it?
