You are now officially added to the club of about 3 and a 1/2 other people in this world who do not like GTA. You may join them in the corner now......

Go away, noob.

I'm going to pick up my pre-ordered copy in about 3 hours. Could have got it last night after 9, but was busy.

It's a fun game, prepare to lose at least 2 hours once you pop in the game

Meh - I don't see what the fuss is all about 😛

agreed, I played GTA III for a bit, got bored of summoning tanks n' sh|t, and then found other, better, more entertaining games.

GTA at it's inception was a great concept. Today it's just boring. I totally agree that it is overhyped.

You are welcome to your opinion, but I'm just stating the fact that millioners of gamers disagree with you both, me being one of them 😀. I understand you don't like the series, and that's fine, not all people will. But to fans of GTA, not many games are bigger than this this year. A lot more than not.

So if you don't like it, no need to come into this thread at all, right? If I don't like a game, I don't immediately head into a thread with it's name in the title and post a reply.

I've played it for a few hours now. So far it's the exact same thing as the other games. I'm hoping that things will open up a lot because the game is so much bigger and has so many things to do.

Vice City was clearly the pinnacle of the series (80's forever!). Get this rap/ghetto/thug crap out of here.

BTW, I'm sure I'll play it on the PC one day. Just holding a grudge towards it right now.

i liked the other two games, but this is basically the same thing, just a different "story" (if you can even call it a story)..

i'll probably play it a bit for the mindless violence, but i'm not impressed...

GTA 1 was a classic favorite, recently got Vice City and am quite impressed. I was looking forward to San Andreas until I learned the PC version isn't expected till about August '05... to rockstar :frown:. I'm not paying more money to play in lower resolution & detail settings on a godawful console. If you don't like Vice City, I'd suggest cruising around, doing a few missions, and listening to the radio some before putting it down... especially the child who "summoned some tanks and sh*t" to determine that it was a bad game 😉 A lot of effort and money went into making it, and it's apparent in the game's vast depth and high quality of content.
