I'm having an incredibly annoying issue with GTA: SA. After playing for a while, the game simply decides to freeze. The audio continues to play just fine - it's just that the video stops completely.
Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't seem to work, and after a while, the game comes back. I'm running an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, and I don't think temperatures are a problem (although I have to admit I haven't checked). I should also mention that this is the only game where I see this problem.
Once I exit out of the game, I get the ATI VPU recover dialog, indicating that my video card stopped responding to commands. Does anyone know of a potential solution or workaround?
