gta: sa custom user music folder?

in gta: san andreas, is it possible to load music from c:\mp3 instead of the default
c:\program files\rockstar\gta\etc etc....

the rationale being i don't want to accidentally uninstall the game and wipe out
the mp3s....too bad the the dos command subst only work to redirect a directory to a drive letter

IIRC, yes.
All that you have to do is create a shortcut to your mp3 folder inside the default folder for the ingame mp3 player.

But I think that folder is somewhere in My Documents, but it's been too long since I hae played it on PC. the location should be in the readme file or the manual.
