I've heard a lot of people say that they didn't get 1 month codes from Best Buy. Interesting.

I got mine from Best Buy and it had the code in it.

Its only a few bucks, but its a little disappointing that getting a card seems to be random, my friend bought at cc and got one, i bought at rs and didn't- and there hasn't been any explanation.

My comment was not directed at the card, the card is a pretty nice gesture, complaining about the price of Live just doesn't make sense though, not that I'm accusing anyone.

All calculations made, you need 14 cents a day to pay for live... and if I all I need to pay to get a superior online experience is 14 cents a day... then I PREFER it a 100x better than a free solution like WiiConnect or PSN, in fact, I WISH Nintendo and Sony started charging 14 cents a day for their services, it would make things better for everyone.

I laugh when people argue a pro for the PSN and WiiConnect24 services is that they are free (when it's actually the other way around, a pro for Xbox Live is that it costs)... who are they trying to fool?

Were you expecting one? You didn't pay for a game + card, you just paid for a game and some are getting a month of live for free. I would be surprised if anything is done about it, as I don't think that was a selling point for the game. 😛
