yeah it looks like BS to me. a 2.8 Pentium D is slower than my E8500 lowered to 1.4. not to mention a 3850 256mb is not going to play that game on decent settings at 1680x1050.

btw when you look at the comments for any gameplay video you get an idea of just how ignorant most gamers are.

GTA IV plays on an Atom with Ion. The recording for that was external though.

Doubt he could run GTA IV and record at the same time on the linked setup.

absolute BS. no way in hell it can play with an ATOM cpu. I am using one right now and it cannot even play most 6-7 year old games. even the fastest dual core ATOM cannot handle most remotely modern games much less GTA 4.

the MINIMUM cpu to play GTA 4 is an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz, or AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4GHz. in no way, shape or form is any ATOM cpu half as fast as either of those. and even with better cpu, that ION gpu is not even half as fast as the Nvidia 7900 which is the minimum gpu to play.

EDIT: and yes I saw that video you linked to in another thread and still call BS. I have put my Core 2 duo at 1.4 before and the game was not playable even on all low settings. and even at 1.4 my cpu would murder that ATOM oced to 2.2 in that vid.

yeah i know that gta 4 need a good pc but will that tweak in video description increase fps?
again, I do not trust that video because the hardware listed is not capable of doing that at 1680x1050. 256mb of vram alone would be a massive limitation in this game at that res.
