Per this press release from Take-Two. As part of the move, it will get "upscaled widescreen graphics, enhanced lighting and animation; and including all-new story missions" and promises to take advantage of the additional power that the PSP provides.

GTA: Chinatown Wars currently has the top score of all DS games at metacritic so it will be interesting to see how they can improve upon the game on the PSP.

GTA: Chinatown Wars will be available both as a downloadable title and sold via UMD.

Am I the only one that thought this game sucked? I just couldn't get into the DS version. It felt tedious and nothing about it was fun.

I really enjoyed GTA for the original Game Boy back in the day. I'm interested to see how this turns out on the PSP especially since it has no touch screen and has had the Stories titles which aren't too far off from the PS2 games.

Ehhhh i liked it. wouldnt venture to say it was a perfect game. because there are things that are lacking. Like the fact you literally crash into everything. The graphics were lacking. But the touchscreen games are cool. the tattoo one specifically. THey just needed more tattoo's

I finished it on the DS. It was pretty fun, but I spend way too much time dealing drugs and not enough time killing people. AI is pretty stupid though. I replay the missions from time to time.

I wonder how its gonna work some of the touch screen stuff. I guess they'll rework those things. but I thought like hte car alarm stuff was pretty interesting. as a dimension to the game.

Eh... I think China Town Wars is more of a 'good for being on the DS' type of game, rather than actually good. They already had Liberty City Stories on the PSP which worked pretty well actually, so I don't doubt they can do it again. I just hope they change the game and not just port it with removing the touch screen minigames.
